Manchester United are set to land their first summer signing, as Swansea City winger, Daniel James, completed his medical on Thursday.
James had a medical at United's training ground and is now on the verge of finalising his £18million move to Old Trafford.
Swansea had initially wanted £30m for the Wales international, while United were hoping to complete a deal for £10m.
The Daily Mail also reports that James, who is earning £4,000 a week at Swansea, will sign a £67,000-a-week deal with United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to strengthen areas of his squad and has identified the 21-year-old as a player who can fill the void on United's flanks.
James, who is capable of playing either on the right or left side of an attack, netted five goals and registered 10 assists in 35 appearances last season.
